No Flour, No Sugar Diet
A no flour, no sugar diet is where any foods and products that contain flour or added sugars are banned.
The idea is to remove the fast carbohydrates everyone is chomping all the time, like candy bars, pizza, ice cream, donuts, and so on–pushing the dieting individual toward nutritious food.
Since fruitarians, vegetarians, vegans, raw vegans and hundreds of other diet fads already existed -including low and reduced carbs diets- one author thought it clever to exclude two main carbohydrate suppliers and find his lucrative place in the dieting niche. That is where you will find the No Flour, No Sugar Diet.
This dietitian proclaims the sugars and flour to be the bad guys. He completely ignores burgers and fries, or for that matter any other fried food, where sugars and flour have not been added. He says we can eat processed food, as long as there is no flour and no sugar, and expect to lose weight. Sure, our bodies will fill with toxins and we’ll be terribly unhealthy…but he claims we’ll be skinnier.
Unfortunately, this is just another sickening try to earn money out of other people’s misery. Overweight people are sometimes desperate to try any crazy idea. It is a shame that anyone can issue a dieting book professing to offer help, but offer only a few calorie charts and recipes copied from the Internet.
The only new thing this diet offers is the name, No Flour, No Sugar, nothing else.
